Why a Travel Advisor?

“Why would I use a travel advisor when I can go online and book it myself?” This is a common question I get, and while there are many reasons why enlisting the help of a travel advisor is better than being at the mercy of massive online booking platforms, I’m going to highlight 3 important ones here:

1.       Expense. Most travel advisors work for a nominal fee which covers their training, time, and access to the world’s best suppliers so that they can book fantastic trips for you. Even with a small travel planning fee, working with a travel advisor will save you money because there are no surprises, no hidden fees, and many times you can spread out your payments. All things you cannot do if you do it yourself.

2.       Expertise. Do you really trust that online review of some stranger you’ve never met? Or do you trust the experience and network connections of your travel advisor? I will only recommend carefully vetted options, with high customer satisfaction ratings, that deliver all the ‘must-haves’ on your travel wish list.

3.       Time. Do you have the time to research, plan, and book your vacation? Will you remember when payments are due and what documents are required? What if something falls through the cracks and you’re at your destination with absolutely no safety net? Working with a travel advisor will save you hours of time and a lot of headaches. I’m here to support you before, during and after your trip.
