My name is Meredith Schnepp and I recognized the need among my family and friends for personalized and intentional travel planning steeped in first-hand experience, industry knowledge, trusted partnerships with a hyper-focus on the details.
When I’m not taxiing my two children to their numerous activities in suburban Chicago, singing in my church choir, or volunteering at my daughter’s school, I’m learning about destinations and travel trends, creating top-notch travel itineraries for my clients, or going on my own research trips to learn firsthand about the experiences I can recommend. My approach is meticulous, and my entire focus is on the quality of your experience as you encounter new places with your favorite people. I’ve traveled across the United States and the world with trips to countries throughout the Caribbean, Europe, and Japan. I’m ruthlessly organized, detailed to a fault, and I’m a lover of systems to manage workflow and life. As a mom of two, I know what it’s like to travel with your children; and I can relate to the overwhelming demands of your time.
It’s nearly impossible to research and plan an incredible trip while wearing life’s many hats.
The origin of Sunkissed Bliss Travel really was a lightbulb moment for me after years of hearing friends and family express their love for travel, but with little time to plan it. My fellow mom friends didn’t have the time it takes to research a trip and would often rule out incredible destinations because they didn’t have the confidence to plan an itinerary suited for children AND adults. I remember sitting up in the dead of the night with this idea to create a travel agency that would cut through the industry jargon, the millions of fake online reviews, with a targeted approach personalized to the client, and a streamlined planning process. And I set about building just that.
I’m a doer and I’m extremely research-oriented. (I used to build profiles on philanthropic prospects for a nonprofit as my job!) With careful planning, I identified what it would take to build this little dream of mine: LLC registration, host agency and travel consortia affiliation, insurance, software, website, training, building relationships, and on and on. What started as a small seed only known to close family and friends began to sprout and grow as more and more people were referred to me. I’m humbled by the growth that Sunkissed Bliss Travel continues to see, I’m having the time of my life, and most importantly…

Those, combined with my destination specialty certifications for the Cayman Islands, Saint Lucia, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Costa Rica, and Hawaii, equip me with the access, opportunities, training, and leverage across the travel industry to fully support you and your travel dreams. And I continue to train, attend conferences, and accept invitations from suppliers to view and experience their travel products.
